Gatehouse 75

At the entrance to Boston’s historic Charlestown neighborhood on the site of the former Knights of Columbus building, Noannet, in partnership with principals of Metric Construction and ELV Associates, re-permitted and re-designed a stalled condominium development into a new “gatehouse” to the neighborhood. Designed by the late Charlestown architectural legend Jack French with interiors by Dennis Duffy, this contemporary take on a contextual brick and bay building was completed in 2013 and adeptly bridges old and new.
